Course Outcomes:   The course of study enables the student to have fairly good idea about the sources-their importance to the study of history, and trace the development of culture, understand the dynastic rule by various rulers over different periods of time, the varied conditions and achievements of different rulers and impact of it all  on the Indian society and history.
Objectives:
·         Teaching the authenticity of History hrough thorough examination of the sources
·         Creating awareness of the early Indian civilization and the growth of polity, socity and culture from the Harappan  Civiliztion upto  Guptas and the Post-Gupta period.

  Syllabus:
·         Study of historical sites and historical/ eminent personalities in History and the contemporary world. 
·         Study of historical monuments, ancient temples, religious sites and touristic sites
·         Study of fairs and festivals, traditions, culture, etc. 
Assessment:
Project Report is assessed both internally and externally through a viva voce.
